Victor Street Masjid provides Islamic education for both young and old, encompassing
a variety of subjects. At present for all age ranges we run a variety of evening
classes, everyone is welcome. These are:
Darsi Nizami for Children: Monday to Friday, 5.00pm-7.00pm. Taught by Shaykh Mufti Wajid Iqbal, our Darsi Nizami Class for Children has been curated specifically to equip children with the requisite skills and attributes required for advanced studies and ultimately full Islamic scholarship.
Hifz Classes: Monday to Friday, two classes split between 4.00pm-7.00pm. Our Hifz class is for students who
are interested in memorising the Noble Qur’an. Classes are led by our main Imam and scholar, Shaykh Qari Hafiz Imran.
Advanced Islamic Studies: Monday to Friday, two classes split between 4.00pm-7.00pm. Aimed at children who have perfected
their recitation of the Noble Qur’an, our advanced Islamic studies class, led by Shaykh Hafiz Abdul Wajid, is perfect for any child who wants to grasp Islamic Sciences such as
Fiqh, Aqidah, Seerah, and more.
Qur'an Recitation: Monday to Friday, two classes split between 4.00pm-7.00pm. Ideal for children who are beginning
their journey to recite the Noble Qur’an. This class is taught by Shaykh Qari Hafiz Assad, and includes the sciences of Tajweed, Fiqh, Aqidah, and more.
Early Years: Monday to Friday, two classes split between 4.00pm-7.00pm. Developed for children who are
starting out to learn the qaidah, our early years class is taught by Sayyid Shaykh Selim, a well rounded scholar and ascetic.
Girls Only Classes: Monday to Friday, two classes split between 4.00pm-7.00pm. Taught by Saeeda Fatima, who has over 38 years experience
teaching children, Ustadha Shamaila, and Ustadha Maria Bibi.
